Are u INSANE???

Top 3 movies of the year as voted by listeners of Power98
1.Narnia
2.Star Wars 3
3.Harry Potter
To all u listeners of Power98, I say this,"ARE U INSANE?"

How did these 3 get in the top 10 much less top 3. Narnia- Lord of the Rings this is not. Harry Potter-please, you are that this uneven movie is top 3 material. But the best is Star Wars! Ok, I give u that it is a nice thrill-ride in a connect-the-dots kind of way but no one can say that it even match the orginal 3 Star Wars movies. I mean is this the only 3 movies u listeners saw for the whole year. Go watch A History of Violence.

A History of Violence

Enough of the Potty one. If u really want to watch a good movie with great acting, A History of Violence is the one to watch. 3 critics on Straits Times state that it is the best movie of the year and THEY ARE RIGHT! William Hurt is a hot Oscar contender for a good, important if slightly short role. But Maria Bello was just great. It will take a damm good actress in a great role to beat her for Best Actress because she just nail it totally. Watch the movie.

US$244millions & counting

I agree it's not that good. Pacing was bad, especially in the first hour, they can and should take out the whole Quidditch World Cup but it's not that bad. The gross of the film is $244m & counting. What I would like is less screen time for Harry's 2 sidekicks, the film felt very overcrowded.

Re: Harry Potter Movie

I also felt Fleur wasn't enchanting enough...her being half-veela means she should be downright captivating on first sight, but no, the actress looked sweet but hardly captivating.

Cho on the other hand, looked fine, don't understand why many people said it was sala casting. Nowhere in the book did Rowling mention that Cho was supposed to be stunning.

The only thing that wowed me in the movie was the Quidditch World Cup venue, very grand, nicely rendered graphics.
